Adrian Bushell

Adrian Bushell is a self-taught artist residing in Victoria, BC. He was born on the Caribbean island of Barbados and lived there until he moved to the west coast of Canada with his family at the age of ten.  He spent a year in Namibia as part of the UN and many of his paintings reflect his time there.  Adrian is inspired by the natural world around him and the experiences that shape his life.  He enjoys working on large canvases using bold colours in oil. Recently he has started working with different mediums including, wood carvings and metal sculptures.  Adrian loves how creating art makes him feel both free and introspective.
